Parliament has entrusted the government with the task of simplify the authorization procedures for renewable energy sources (Fer).

Among the legislative decrees that the government will have to deal with there are also those relating to renewable energy sources for the adjustment of national regulations to European ones, which the executive will have to adopt within 12 months from the entry into force of the law.

The decrees will have to simplify the procedures relating to the Fer “also through the deletion of authorization regimes, rationalization and acceleration of proceedings and provision of certain terms for the conclusion of the proceedings, with the aim of facilitating, in particular, the start-up of economic activity as well as the installation and upgrading of systems, including for domestic use ".

Summer has arrived, bringing more sun to power our homes and businesses. As always, SolarEdge is poised to meet the growing demand for solar energy with new products and features to facilitate system design, installation and monitoring.

SolarEdge's new electric vehicle charger

Easy to install for both single-phase and three-phase systems, the Electric Vehicle charger integrates seamlessly with the SolarEdge Home ecosystem allowing homeowners to control and optimize all home energy with a single app, mySolarEdge.

DC / AC oversizing up to 200% with Wave Inverter

With Wave inverters it is possible to oversize in direct current up to 200%, thus giving the opportunity to make systems with more modules and helping your customers to make the most of every ray of sunshine.

SolarEdge's smart modules have proven themselves resistant to hail

As a leader in photovoltaic security, SolarEdge takes this issue very seriously. The smart modules were then subjected to tests in the TÜV SÜD laboratories, tests that involve the use of 3.5 cm diameter ice balls fired at almost 100 km / h against the modules. As expected, the modules have successfully passed the tests, in accordance with the IEC 61215-2 standard.

The interventions to be financed for the construction of photovoltaic systems to be installed on buildings for productive use in the agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial sectors have been published in the Official Gazette.

Important points to know:

  • photovoltaic systems are eligible for aid only if the objective is to satisfy the company's energy needs;
  • it is intended to select and finance projects that provide for the purchase and installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings instrumental to the activity of the beneficiaries, including those intended for reception and hospitality in the context of the agritourism activity;
  • removal and disposal of asbestos (or, where applicable, of eternity);
  • 40 per cent of the resources are destined to finance projects to be carried out in the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily;
  • Beneficiaries are:
    • Agricultural entrepreneurs, individually or as a company;
    • agro-industrial enterprises;
    • agricultural cooperatives.
  • The interventions eligible for the subsidy to be implemented must have a peak power of no less than 6 kWp and no more than 500 kWp;
  • Eligible expenses:
    • for the construction of photovoltaic systems: purchase and installation of photovoltaic modules, inverters, management software, additional system components;
    • storage systems;
    • supply and installation of the materials necessary for the implementation of the interventions;
    • network connection costs;
    • up to a maximum limit of Euro 1,500.00 / kWp for the installation of photovoltaic panels, also in consideration of the overall size of the system to be built and the related economies of scale, and up to a further Euro 1,000.00 / kWh where they are accumulation systems are also installed. In any case, the total contribution paid for the storage systems cannot exceed € 50,000.00. If electric charging stations are installed for sustainable mobility and agricultural machinery, an expense up to a maximum admissible limit of Euro 1,000.00 / Kw per column may be recognized, in addition to the ceilings indicated above.

A very topical issue for the national economy is how to maximize the synergy between the agricultural and energy sectors.

The PNRR broadly contemplates this need and makes huge amounts available funds for the realization of iphotovoltaic systems for the benefit of farmers. The systems agro-photovoltaic they are a solution capable of responding to multiple needs: they produce clean electricitysupport the decarbonization process both of the energy and agricultural sectors, allow the enhancement of the territory thanks to the dual use of the same.

Agro-photovoltaic systems they do not reduce the cultivable area, but create important synergies between the agricultural and energy sectors. The attention of the legislator towards these solutions is always higher and the legislation is, also thanks to the contribution of ITALY SOLAR, under definition.

During the conference we will analyze some development scenarios related to the political debate, we will present the opportunities for farmers and we will show what has been implemented to date by bringing examples and case studies.
